Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup (150g) granulated sugar
- 1 1/4 cups (155g) all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp (1.5g) salt
- 2 tbsp (30ml) whole milk
- 2 tsp (10ml) pure vanilla extract
- 3 tbsp (30g) rainbow sprinkles
Instructions:
- Spread the flour on a baking sheet and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 5 minutes, or microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C). Let it cool completely before using.
- Beat the softened butter and granulated sugar in a bowl until the mixture is pale and fluffy.
- Stir in the vanilla extract, milk, and salt.
- Gradually add the cooled, heat-treated flour, mixing on low speed until just combined.
- Fold in the sprinkles by hand using a spatula until evenly distributed.
