Ingredients:

  • 1.5 cups frozen strawberries (225g)
  • 1 large frozen banana, peeled and sliced (120g)
  • 0.5 cup plain Greek yogurt (125g)
  • 1 cup whole milk (244g)
  • 1 tsp honey (7g)
  • 0.25 tsp vanilla extract (1g)
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds (12g)

Instructions:

  1. Pour the 1 cup whole milk into the blender jar first. Note: This prevents the fruit from sticking to the bottom.
  2. Add the 0.5 cup plain Greek yogurt on top of the milk.
  3. Drizzle in the 1 tsp honey and the 0.25 tsp vanilla extract.
  4. Sprinkle the 1 tbsp chia seeds evenly over the liquid surface. Note: Spreading them prevents them from clumping together into a chia ball.
  5. Place the 1 large frozen banana slices into the jar.
  6. Top with the 1.5 cups frozen strawberries. The weight will help the blending process.
  7. Secure the lid tightly and start blending on the lowest setting for 10 seconds.
  8. Increase to high speed and blend for 40 seconds until the color is uniform and no fruit chunks remain.
  9. Stop and check the consistency. It should look like thick, flowing silk.
  10. Pour immediately into a chilled glass and serve while the frost is still visible.
