Ingredients:
- 6-8 medium plums, halved and pitted (approx. 900g)
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Slice your plums in half and remove the pits.
- Toss the plum halves gently with lemon juice in a 9x9 inch baking dish and arrange them cut-side up in a single layer.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, honey, and salt until a smooth, thick paste forms.
- Spoon a generous dollop of the glaze mixture into the center of each plum half, spreading it slightly toward the edges.
- Place the dish on the center rack of the oven and bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the fruit is tender and the glaze is bubbling and syrupy.
