Ingredients:

  • 36 Original Oreo Cookies (14.3 oz package)
  • 8 oz brick cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  • 12 oz semi-sweet chocolate melting wafers
  • 2 Oreo cookies, finely crushed (optional for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Place 36 cookies into a food processor. Pulse until the mixture resembles fine, dark sand with no visible large chunks.
  2. Add the softened cream cheese to the processor and pulse until a heavy, mahogany-colored dough forms and holds its shape when squeezed.
  3. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Using a small scoop, portion the dough and roll into 1-inch spheres. Freeze for 30 to 45 minutes until firm.
  4. Melt the chocolate wafers in 30-second intervals in the microwave until smooth. Dip the chilled balls into the chocolate using two forks, tapping off excess, and return to parchment paper to set.
