Ingredients:

  • 4 large firm-ripe peaches (approx. 2 lbs / 900g), halved and pitted
  • 2 tbsp (28g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp (25g) light brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 tsp (1g) ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch (0.5g) kosher salt

Instructions:

  1. Cut the peaches along the natural seam, rotating the fruit as you slice, then give the halves a gentle twist to remove the pit.
  2. Brush the cut side of each peach generously with the mixture of melted butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Place the peaches cut-side down directly onto the grates. Close the lid and grill for 3 to 5 minutes without moving them until deep mahogany-colored grill marks appear.
  5. Using tongs, flip the peaches over for 60 seconds to warm the skin side through, then remove from heat immediately.
