Ingredients:
- 1 tube (12 oz / 340g) refrigerated cinnamon rolls
- 1 can (15 oz / 425g) apple pie filling
- 2 tbsp (28g) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tsp (2g) ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp (1g) salt
- 1/2 cup (60g) powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp (15ml) heavy cream
- 1/2 tsp (2.5ml) vanilla extract
Instructions:
- Unroll the refrigerated cinnamon rolls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Using a butter knife or small spatula, gently press down the center of each roll to create a small indentation.
- Spoon approximately 1 tbsp (15g) of the canned apple pie filling into the center of each roll. Fold edges over or leave open-faced. Brush the exposed dough with melted butter and sprinkle with ground cinnamon and salt.
- Place the tray in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C). Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until the edges are a deep golden brown and the apple filling is bubbling.
- Whisk the powdered sugar, heavy cream, and vanilla in a small bowl until smooth. Drizzle the glaze over the warm rolls.
